The Democratic People s Republic of Korea (Korean 조선 민주 주의 주의, [T͡ɕo̞sʰʌ̹n Mind͡ʑud͡ʑu (ɰ) I Inmin Ko̞ŋβWa̠ɡuk̚], Chosŏn Minjujuŭi Inmin Konghwaguk), known as North Korea, is a state in East Asia.
