George RR Martin reveals how it got involved with Elden Ring

Anglo de Elden could be one of the most anticipated 2022 games, and with a good reason: it is a new game of Hideaway Miyazaki with construction of worlds of Game of Thrones scribe George RR Martin. However, some fans could ask himself exactly how that collaboration came from! In a new entry into the blog, Martin entered details about the field and why he exactly decided to sign. Apparently, Martin is not a great fan of video games, but he was impressed with what fromSoftware was working and asked him to do something he enjoys.

A few years ago, Hideaway Miyazaki and his incredible team of game designers, the creators of the video game series Dark Souls, approached from Japan to ask me to help them create the history of background and the story of a new game in the were working. Now, video games are not mine, oh, I played some at the dawn of time, mainly strategy games such as Railroad Tycoon, Romance of The Three Kingdoms and Master of Orion, but this offer was too exciting to reject it. Miyazaki and his fromSoftware team were doing innovative things with a magnificent art, and what they wanted from me was just a little construction of the world: a deep, dark and resonant world that would serve as a basis for the game they planned to create. And it turns out that, I love creating worlds and writing imaginary story, Martin writes.

Martin continued saying that he sent his team to contribute to the game, and they have spent years since he had some participation. That may seem surprising for some fans, but the development of video games is a long process, so it makes sense that it takes a while.

Fortunately, the end is in sight! Anglo de Elden is scheduled to launch on February 25 at PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X | S and PC. The game can not get enough soon for some fans. A network test last month attracted a massive interest, and codes were sold for hundreds of dollars in the secondary market. Hopefully, the game will meet the expectations when finally make your debut!
